Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help Training Rescue Dogs, accomplish it's mission of saving German shepherds. There are many ways to volunteer and we encourage all volunteers to find what works for them. ***Please note that if you are under 18 years of age, our insurance prevents you from working directly with the dogs. However, we have a number of other projects that you may be able to assist with. Please tell us more about yourself and where you may be able to assist our dogs below. Some areas that might interest you; fostering, transporting, events (hosting or attending), reference callers, conducting home visits, fundraising, social media, grant writing, training, evaluations, etc. We all have talents and skills and you never know what you may discover about yourself while volunteering. Volunteering can be an amazing journey of fun, passion, self-discovery, and helping save our beloved breed. It is possible that the dogs we take into our rescue have been abandoned, neglected, mistreated, or even abused. Although we evaluate dogs prior to accepting them into the rescue, we cannot guarantee the temperament of any of the dogs. Working with the rescued dogs comes with risks.
